INTRODUCTION.

Gameplay:
The PSP version, the first in the series, has a "story" centered on the main character, "Makunouchi Ippo," a "practice" where you can learn basic skills, and you can "match" your favorite players. The battle you recorded can be played back in a number of different ways, including "Exhibition" and "Replay."
The main character, "Makunouchi Ippo," is the focus of the narrative in the story mode, just as it was in the original story. The antagonist "Malcolm Gedo," who had not appeared in the original until just the other day, appears in the story. In addition to Ippo, the play also includes a number of prestige games that are recorded as sub-stories. If you like the original but aren't good at action games, you can adjust the difficulty level to accommodate both novice and experienced players.
You can choose your favorite character and play against it in the exhibition mode. Dream cards like "Makunouchi Ippo vs. Brian Hawk" can also be realized, and there is no classification system for each exhibition. As the story mode progresses, more and more characters become available for use in this mode; some of them can only be used in the exhibition mode.
Players can communicate wirelessly with one another if the PSP body and one set of software are prepared. There are a total of 14 different perspectives that can be used during play, such as a "first person point of view" with the character in focus and a "view from the side" that looks down diagonally from above at both players.
