DISNEY'S TARZAN
DESCRIPTION.
The well-known vineswinger swings onto the Game Boy, but he immediately crashes into a tree. This idea had the potential to be a ton of tropical fun, but poor controls stop it in its tracks.
Crossing a Mine Line Over six large levels, Tarzan must beat the clock to find various items and fight various jungle creatures. His exploration is further hampered by a fire, poachers, and traps.
Despite being an action/adventure game, Tarzan requires solving mazes rather than engaging in intense combat. Sadly, the mazes become redundant, and if you don't have a password, you'll keep going back to them.
Even worse, the erroneous controls frequently prevent you from jumping through the trees or reaching the vines, necessitating an excessive amount of backtracking. Get ready to crash when Tarzan is moving, even though his primitive weapons make it easy for him to defend himself.
Leaf Me Out The typical graphics consist of numerous small sprites and ambiguous backgrounds. Tarzan's world is not nearly as dense with foliage as the fierce box illustration suggests, and his character is more cartoonish.
The mediocrity is exacerbated by the bland sounds. There is some music and typical sound effects, but you don't really feel like you're in the jungle.
Although Tarzan is not a terrible game, it is far from thrilling. For the average amount of fun it provides, it requires far too much patient replaying.
